Do you know a deserving team member who consistently excels in job performance?

Take the time to nominate a fellow team member who is commendable for advancing Hillcrest’s mission, quality goals and the Hillcrest Way for a chance to win the Advancing Quality Award.

Nominations by team members and customers will be accepted from Oct. 15 through Nov. 15, 2024.

What is the Advancing Quality Award?

The Advancing Quality Award recognizes team members for outstanding work performance that supports the mission and quality goals and who exemplify the standards of the Hillcrest Way. The Advancing Quality Award is the highest honor given annually to deserving team members.

Candidates must have completed at least one calendar year of employment (as of Jan. 1, 2025) and worked a minimum of 1,300 hours in the prior 12 months to be eligible for the award.

Nomination & Application Process

TMS will notify candidates of their nomination by Nov. 22 and invite them to complete an application by Dec. 15.

Applications are reviewed by external and internal judges who score the candidates by late January. Two winners will be selected: one in a leadership role or licensed role, and one from all other candidates. Applicants will be scored on how they advance Hillcrest’s mission and quality goals. Additional achievements may be considered.

Winners will be announced in February. Recipients will each receive an honorary trophy that can be displayed in their home and a $2,500 cash award.

Our 2023 Advancing Quality Award Winners were Betsy Spieler, physical therapist at Hillcrest Millard, and Michelle McKillip, personal care assistant at Hillcrest Mable Rose.
