The Grand Lodge provides memory support assisted living for residents with dementia or other cognitive impairments in two secured, state-of-the-art neighborhoods, York and Lancaster. Our seasoned team of experts, equipped with vast training in dementia care, has provided guidance, support and compassionate care for cognitively impaired residents for nearly a decade.
While utilizing Montessori learning techniques, our focus is on providing meaningful, individualized activities that enhance the lives of our residents and can often eliminate the need for psychotropic medication. We take the time to learn residents’ social and educational preferences and provide comfort and entertainment that coincides with their interests. Memory Support Amenities Include:
Personal Services
- Medication management
- Personalized care and greater assistance with activities of daily living, like bathing and dressing
- 24-hour emergency response system optimized for memory support resident
- Small, meaningful group activities that relate to residents’ personal past and present preferences
Community Amenities
- Memory stations available to stimulate residents’ engagement with activities from their past
- Spiritual support and chaplain services provided
- Family-style dining provided by our chef-led culinary team
- Beautiful outdoor courtyard connecting both state-of-the- art York and Lancaster neighborhoods
Living Arrangements
- 15 private apartments in two secured neighborhoods with cozy fireplaces, comfortable seating, as well as laundry and housekeeping services
- Located on the ground level with access to a beautifully landscaped courtyard/garden
- Apartments feature a kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, cabinet space and a locked drawer for medications
