Join us for an overview of the types of dementia and how they affect the brain, as well as the symptoms experienced by an individual with dementia. RSVP by Friday, November 15th: (402) 885-7007 or srussell@hillcresthealth.com.

The Alzheimer’s Association defines “dementia” as a decline in mental ability severe enough to interfere with daily life – Alzheimer’s being the most common type of dementia. What does this really mean for your aging loved one and how might things change after a  diagnosis? Join Dr. Anna Fisher, Director of Education and Quality for Hillcrest Health Services, as she presents The Dimensions of Dementia. Guests will learn from a nationally-renowned dementia expert about dementia, best practices for communication and non-pharmacological approaches to care. Refreshments will be provided.
