Preparing for Day One

Preparing For Day One

Welcome to Hillcrest Health & Living!

This information will help you start off right as you prepare for your first day!

There’s just four easy steps to follow to get set up for day one. Please take time to get these items completed before your start date at General Onboarding (G.O.)

Step One: Create Your Dayforce Account

To access Dayforce, use a computer or laptop (note: it doesn’t work on phones or tablets yet). Follow these steps to setup your account:

  1. Go to www.dayforcehcm.com/mydayforce/login.aspx
  2. Enter the following login details:
              – Company: hillcrest
              – Username: your first and last name
              – Password: your birthday in the format YYYMMDD (Ex. if your birthday is May 1, 2001, enter 20010501). If you’ve already logged in
before, use the password you created previously.
  3. Complete all items in the Dayforce First Access process. This must be done before your General Onboarding (G.O.). These items include:
    – Entering your personal information
    – Setting up your direct deposit; If you do not set up direct deposit before starting, you will be issued a Rapid Pay Card at G.O.
    – Acknowledging company policies

Step Two: Complete Your DHHS APS/CPS Background Check

Please ensure that you have completed this prior to Monday. This is not the same as the Essential Criminal Background Check that is completed during your application process.

Step Three: Gather Your Documents to Bring to Onboarding

    • CPR Certified? Please bring your documents to G.O. for your team member file
    • COVID Vaccinated? Please bring any COVID Vaccination records with you to G.O.
    • Eligible to work in the U.S.? You must bring documents to verify employment eligibility. Visit hillcresthealth.com/ID for details on what to bring to G.O.

Step Four: Get Ready for Day One

    • Attire: Please wear either business casual attire or scrubs. Please avoid casual attire such as jeans, sweatpants, t-shirts or flip-flops as you may be going to the service line (worksite).
    • It’s Picture Day: When you arrive at General Onboarding, we’ll be taking your picture for your name badge. Be prepared to smile!
    • Lunch: We’ll provide lunch around 11 a.m. Please reply promptly with any dietary restrictions so we can try and accommodate.
