Caregiver Resources

Whether you seek out friends, family members, clergy, a support group or a grief counselor, find someone you can talk to about your feelings and emotions.

Grieve Together

This is a center for grieving children (ages 3-18) and their families who have experienced the death of someone they love. Family members and friends of their children are also invited to receive support and grief education. Monthly support groups are offered the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9:30-10:45 a.m., and an 8-week support series is offered throughout the year.

Healing Each other After a Loss

A public support group for individuals preparing for or experiencing the loss of a family member, friend or patient

The bereaved is invited to participate in a 10-week educational support group. Group members can expect:

  • A safe, nonjudgmental environment to speak openly
  • A chance to gain new friends and acquaintances
  • Education and ideas about grief and loss
  • A book and journal about grief to help navigate the journey

A donation is suggested to help cover the costs of materials. After the 10-week group, grievers are invited to attend an open, ongoing social grief group held twice a month on one of the Hillcrest campuses in Bellevue or Papillion.

The next 10-week session will begin in August and be held twice monthly through December. Meetings will be held at the Hillcrest Hospice Care office at 1820 Hillcrest Drive in Bellevue.
