Bellevue, NE – Hillcrest Health Services is pleased to announce its President and CEO, Jolene Roberts, was inducted into the Sarpy County Business Hall of Fame on October 8. The designation recognizes business leaders for their impact across the community, and Roberts was one of five honored this year at an induction ceremony at Bellevue University.
“This is a well-deserved honor for our legendary leader,” said Jim Janicki, vice president of marketing and communications. “Jolene’s imprint on the Sarpy County community over the past 25 years is one of compassion and caring as she has built a dedicated team of 700 caregivers that enhance the lives of 1,000 aging adults every day. We are immensely proud of her and appreciative of all she has done for aging adults and their families in our region.”
Roberts took over Hillcrest Care Center in 1989, and today, the company offers the region’s widest array of aging-related services. She has also grown Hillcrest Health Services to be the ninth largest employer in the county and will be adding more jobs with the opening of the Grand Lodge at Hillcrest Country Estates in late 2014.
The Business Hall of Fame inductee profiles will be on display for the next year inside the Durham Building at Bellevue University. An editorial committee from the Suburban Newspapers selected the honorees.
Hillcrest Health Services offers the region’s largest continuum of health services for aging adults, including independent and assisted living, in-patient and outpatient rehabilitation, long-term care, memory support, adult day services, certified skilled home health and private duty home care, and hospice care. Hillcrest currently serves nearly 1,000 aging adults daily across eight counties in Nebraska and Iowa. For more information, visit www.hillcresthealth.com.
