Motivational Speaker and Author, V.J. Smith,
Presents to More than 250 Hillcrest Team Members
Bellevue, NE – Hillcrest Health Services invited motivational speaker and author of “The Richest Man in Town”, V.J. Smith, to present to and inspire more than 250 team members at its annual team meeting.
“We are in the business of caring for others, and the message V.J. imparts through his presentation hits home with our organization,” said Martha Zubke, vice president of quality improvement and administration for Hillcrest Health Services. “He presents a feel-good story about how even the smallest kind and caring gestures can impact lives.”
Smith’s presentation is known to evoke emotion and enthusiasm while entertaining the audience. His book, “The Richest Man in Town,” tells the story of a Wal-Mart employee named Marty who, through simple acts of kindness, made genuine connections with each customer. Smith writes about the indelible impression Marty made on others, and how Marty helped him rediscover life’s lessons and what really matters in life—relationships.
“We hope our team members will enjoy this presentation and not only gain inspiration in their own personal lives, but also reinforce the importance of their role in touching the lives of hundreds of patients, elders and residents receiving care from Hillcrest every day,” said Zubke. “Each team member will receive a copy of the book to take home and enjoy this moving story.”
Smith, who resides in Brookings, S.D., is a professional speaker who makes more than 100 appearances a year to students, organizations, business groups and more. For more information, visit his website at www.vj-smith.com.
