Preparing For Your Stay

Your stay at Hillcrest Health & Rehab will be focused on your recovery, which means plenty of physical and occupational therapy to get you ready for your return home or to the community. We want you to be as comfortable as possible when you stay at our post-acute rehabilitation center. As you and your loved ones pack for your stay, we recommend you bring:

  • At least five changes of comfortable clothes, such as lounge pants, sweatpants, slacks, jeans, shirts, t-shirts or blouses
  • Pajamas
  • Undergarments and socks
  • Shoes with a non-slick bottom
  • Toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, comb, hairbrush, soap, shampooroom3-wide-thumb
  • Electric razor (if preferred)
  • Bi-pap or C-pap Machine (if required to wear)
  • Dentures (if needed)
  • Hearing aids (if needed)
  • Incontinence supplies (if needed)
  • Durable Power of Attorney paperwork
  • Guardian paperwork (if applicable)
  • Advance Directives (if you don’t have, we can help you complete them)
  • Insurance cards
  • Radio, books, magazines
  • Snacks (must be in a resealable container that can be kept at room temperature)

We recommend that valuable items such as jewelry and electronics be kept at home.
